I. Core Technology Characteristics
1. Physical Filtration Mechanism
Permeation Limit (0.0001 micrometers): Only water molecules can pass through, while inorganic salts, heavy metal ions (lead, arsenic), bacteria (size > 0.2 micrometers), viruses (most > 0.02 micrometers), and dissolved organic substances are forcibly intercepted.
Dependent on Pressure Drive: A 0.4-0.8 MPa booster pump is required to overcome the natural osmotic pressure. Ordinary municipal water pressure cannot start the filtration.
2. Strong System Dependency
Must be combined with pre-treatment: Pre-PP cotton (to intercept sediment) and activated carbon (to adsorb residual chlorine and protect RO membrane oxidation failure) form a complete system. Using only the RO filter element will quickly clog.

1. High-Pollution Water Sources Areas
Heavy metal industrial areas (such as lead and chromium pollution), high fluoride/high arsenic groundwater areas (in some rural areas of the north), RO is the only scheme that can guarantee safe drinking water.
Salty Water Areas (soluble solids > 1000 ppm), RO desalination costs are significantly lower than distillation.
2. Medical/Laboratory Special Water Uses
Water for hemodialysis, reagent preparation, etc. require ultra-low ion residue. RO + EDI (electrodeionization) should be used in combination.
3. Specific Household Water Supply
High-end steam irons, humidifiers: To prevent water scale from blocking micropores.
High-end coffee machines: To avoid calcium and magnesium ions affecting extraction of flavor.
