Air compressor maintenance

Clean heat dissipation

To remove dust on the cooling surface after the air compressor runs for about 2000 hours, open the cover of the cooling hole on the fan support and use the dust gun to purge the cooling surface until the dust is cleared. If the surface of the radiator is too dirty to be cleaned, remove the cooler, pour out the oil in the cooler and close the four inlet and outlet to prevent the entry of dirt, and then blow the dust on both sides with compressed air or rinse with water, and finally dry the water stains on the surface. Put it back in place.

Remember! Do not use hard objects such as iron brushes to scrape dirt, so as not to damage the radiator surface.

Condensate drainage

Moisture in the air may condense in the oil and gas separation tank, especially in wet weather, when the exhaust temperature is lower than the pressure dew point of the air or when the machine is shut down for cooling, more condensed water will be precipitated. Too much water in the oil will cause the emulsification of the lubricating oil, affecting the safe operation of the machine, and the possible causes;

1. Cause poor lubrication of compressor main engine;

2. The oil and gas separation effect becomes worse, and the pressure difference of the oil and gas separator becomes larger.

3. Cause corrosion of machine parts;

Therefore, the condensate discharge schedule should be established according to the humidity condition.

The condensate discharge method should be carried out after the machine is shut down, there is no pressure in the oil and gas separation tank, and the condensate is fully precipitated, such as before starting up in the morning.

1. First open the air valve to eliminate air pressure.

2. Screw out the front plug of the ball valve at the bottom of the oil and gas separation tank.

3.Slowly open the ball valve to drain until the oil flows out and close the ball valve.
