If smoke continues after filter replacement, inspect the exhaust path and oil return system. Persistent oil carryover may indicate worn vanes, seals, bearings, or other internal parts that require professional service.

Regular replacement of the oil mist eliminator helps reduce exhaust contamination and protect the surrounding work area. Maintenance intervals should be based on pump type, operating hours, oil quality, dust levels, and application conditions rather than a fixed schedule alone.
