Product Description

The main function of the oil filter in the air compressor system is to filter out metal particles and impurities in the lubricating oil of the air compressor, so as to ensure the cleanliness of the oil circulation system and the normal operation of the equipment. Our screw compressor oil filter element select HV brand ultra-fine glass fiber composite filter or pure wood pulp filter paper as raw Materia. This filter replacement has excellent waterproof and resistance to erosion; it still maintains the original performance when mechanical, thermal and climate changes. The pressure-resistant housing of the fluid filter can accommodate the fluctuated working pressure between compressor loading and unloading; High-grade rubber seal ensures that the connection part is tight and won’t leak.

To filter oil in an air compressor, follow these steps

1. Turn off the air compressor and disconnect the power supply to prevent accidental startup.

2. Locate the oil filter housing on the compressor. Depending on the model and design, it may be on the side or top of the compressor.

3. Using a wrench or suitable tool, carefully remove the oil filter housing cover. Be careful as the oil inside the housing may be hot.

4. Remove old oil filter from housing. Discard properly.

5. Thoroughly clean the oil filter housing to remove excess oil and debris.

6. Install new oil filter into housing. Make sure it fits securely and is the right size for your compressor.

7. Replace the oil filter housing cover and tighten with a wrench.

8. Check the oil level in the compressor and top up if necessary. Use the recommended oil type specified in the compressor manual.

9. After completing all maintenance tasks, reconnect the air compressor to the power source.

10. Start the air compressor and let it run for a few minutes to ensure proper oil circulation.

When performing any maintenance tasks on an air compressor, including filtering oil, it is important to follow the manufacturer's recommendations and guidelines. Regularly changing the oil filter and keeping the oil clean will significantly improve the efficiency and life of the compressor.
